Dr. Robin Rodi, Marin Humane's Board President and Legacy Society member says, "Do it!" when asked how she'd respond to someone who is considering joining Marin Humane's Legacy Society.

"Marin Humane is such an amazing organization," Robin says. "I really believe in the work they do. Over my eight years on Marin Humane's board, I've witnessed firsthand the many thousands of animals and people the organization has helped in Marin County and beyond.

"Marin Humane collaborates with other shelters and stays current on national trends and challenges. Progressive and open to new and innovative approaches, Marin Humane is an animal resource center that supports our community by responding to disasters, investigating animal abuse, and rescuing and advocating for animals.

"Not just a shelter, they also rehabilitate animals through behavior and training, and promote our coexistence with wildlife in Marin. Marin Humane touches the lives of many with programs and services that support the human-animal bond—keeping loved pets in the homes of low-income seniors and community members experiencing financial hardship.

"And as if that weren't enough, they educate and impact thousands of children annually—the key to promoting animal welfare into the future. I wish everyone knew how much Marin Humane does!

"My husband and I want Marin Humane's work to benefit future generations, which is why we became Legacy Society members."
